What it does not give up is fit. The six slots are still cut to your battery profiles from the same 60+ profile library, and different bays can still carry different profiles, so a mixed-brand fleet charges on one unit as long as charging voltage is consistent.
One USB port and one Type-C port are built into the front edge. Their main purpose is to charge compatible small devices, newer two-way radios with Type-C charging, and radio batteries equipped with a Type-C input. This extends the charger's radio coverage beyond the six physical bays. We also supply Type-C rechargeable radio batteries and can customize compatible batteries for specific radio models. There is no LCD, so the model suits buyers who need straightforward charging without per-channel data.
